MARIETTA, Ga. - The former President of Life University is recovering from a stroke, family members told 11Alive News.
If you spent time in Atlanta - you're probably familiar with the face of Dr. Sid Williams. He was the President of Life University in Marietta. To this day, he's beloved by students, faculty and alumni of the school.
Recently, Dr. Sid had a stroke. He's recovering. But, as you know, verbal communication can be very difficult for stroke patients. So, Dr. Sid's daughter, Kim, has taken to Facebook to provide updates about her father's recovery.
In her most recent post Thursday, William's daughter wrote that his recovery continues to go well. She even said that Dr. Sid is considered "stable and ready for rehab."
"Another good day in Atlanta. Dr. Sid was able to eat and continues to say more words," she wrote.
