COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- Six children were safely removed from a home during a SWAT situation Tuesday evening.

According to Sgt. Dana Pierce of the Cobb County Police Department, officers were called to the house on Cumberland Creek Parkway on a domestic call. Several  people were reportedly at the house. A woman and several children left the house, while a man and a baby remained inside.

After the SWAT team was called, officers were able to retrieve the baby.

Authorities entered the home and did not find the suspect.
