Downed power lines close Marietta street | News
MARIETTA, Ga. -- Wednesday morning's severe weather is causing a major headache for some Cobb County commuters.
Marietta Police said Whitlock Avenue in Marietta is closed at Brookwood Drive due to a downed tree and power lines.
The tree and lines came down at around 5 a.m. The road is closed in both directions.
Dispatchers expect major delays in the area as they work to clear the scene.
