Missing 81-year-old man found safe
MARIETTA, Ga. -- An 81-year-old Cobb County man who vanished Tuesday has been found safe.
Dudley Charles Lyon left his Marietta home at around 11:30 a.m. to go grocery shopping and never returned, according to Cobb County Police spokesman Mike Bowman.
Lyon was found in Habersham County at around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Bowman said Lyon was in good spirits and there were no signs of foul play. Officers called his family to report that he had been found.
Bowman said Lyon suffers from dementia.
