Pip fundraising for first album
News

ATLANTA -- He has the passion, the personality, and the voice.

Now all Kennesaw's Phillip "Pip" Arnold needs to make his first album is the money.

The quarterfinalist on NBC's "The Voice" is turning to fans for support. He's trying to raise $26,000 through Kickstarter, a website for funding creative projects.

"Oh man, guys - making an album is no small task," he wrote online." There are so many things that go into it... musicians, producers, studio time, equipment, mixing/mastering, album cover photo shoot, CD production and printing... it all adds up FAST."

Fans can pledge between $5 and $5,000 to help cover those costs. In exchange, they get perks ranging from an early release of Pip's album to a private concert.
