Cobb County, GA--  I love finding new ways to clean and decorate my humble abode.  This weekend, I’m looking so forward (probably more than my fiancé) to attending the 2011 Atlanta Home Show at Cobb Galleria Center.  Each year I go, I see firsthand some of the latest, greatest home decorating trends.  And who doesn’t need new home decorating ideas (I do!).

Did I mention the cool tools and gadgets that are demonstrated at the show?  If you can make my life easier by giving me a tool that will clean better and faster…sign me up.  One year when a new floor mop came on the market and I didn’t believe it worked when I saw it on TV, well guess what?  It was being demo’d at the Show.  One of my BFFs and I got a great two-for-one deal on the floor mop.  You can’t beat that.

ATLANTA -- According to some studies, one in three Georgia children are obese.

Now, local farmers have teamed up with a number of school districts to help fight this battle and encourage healthy eating among the next generation.

On Wednesday, Mar. 30, members of Georgia's Farm to School program will be recognized at the Capitol for this special partnership that benefits so many people.

The national Farm to School program connects schools with local farms in order to ensure that healthy meals are served in school cafeterias and farms receive the support they need and deserve.

Currently, there are 360 Georgia schools and six full systems integrating farm to school programs.

Students and farmers alike will be at the Capitol on Mar. 30 from 12 noon until 1 p.m.
