Marietta Motel 6 robbed | Crime

MARIETTA, Ga. -- Marietta Police are investigating a motel robbery that happened last week.
Police Ofc. David Baldwin said the robbery happened at around 10 a.m. Dec. 27 at the Motel 6 on Delk Road, just off Interstate 75.
According to the investigation, a man approached the hotel clerk, told her he had a gun and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect money from the register, then ran into an office and out the back door.
Baldwin said the suspect tried to chase the clerk, but she managed to escape.
The suspect is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, wearing rimmed glasses.
