Body wax salon owner arrested for hidden camera | Crime
MARIETTA, Ga. -- Cobb County Police have arrested the owner of two body wax salons after a hidden camera was found in the ceiling of one of his businesses.
The camera was discovered July 27 in a room where customers get Brazilian waxes at the Salon Avenue Suites in Marietta. Investigators determined that the camera was attached to a cable, which led into a storage room in the building, said Cobb County Police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce.
The owner of the salon, 54-year-old Mark Allen Storch, was arrested at his second body waxing salon in Acworth on Aug. 10.
Pierce said Storch, a convicted sex offender, is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. He faces three charges of unlawful surveillance.
Cobb County Police are now asking Salon Avenue Suites patrons to help them in their investigation. Anyone who used the restroom at the salon's Acworth location (3102 Loring Road, Suite 160) this July is asked to call investigators at 770-499-3945.
