The Woodstock Market and Show will feature an outdoor market and antique show on Saturday, May 7. The show will include antiques, vintage things, arts and crafts, furniture, produce and vendor items. The show was created to have the feel of an “Old World Outdoor Street Market”. The market is located at 9464 Main Street in Woodstock.

This weekend, North Cobb will present their 2nd Annual Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival. This festival is held by The Rotary Club of North Cobb and the City of Acworth; it’s a non-sanctioned BBQ competition open to anyone who loves to cook. The event will be held on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at Cauble Park on Lake Acworth. This year, the festival will host free concerts.

ATLANTA -- Kohl's Department Stores has announced a $200,000 cash donation in response to severe weather and tornadoes that caused widespread damage across the Midwest and Southeast.

The money will go to the American Red Cross, which is delivering much-needed emergency assistance throughout the affected areas.

"The destruction caused by the most recent severe weather in the Midwest and Southern regions is devastating and our thoughts are with those affected," said Julie Gardner, Kohl's executive vice president and chief marketing officer. "At such a difficult time, we are grateful to be in a position to give this financial donation to aid in the relief and rebuilding efforts.
