Empty Bowl Brunch to benefit MUST Ministries | Arts & Culture
MARIETTA, Ga. -- The Art Place in Marietta is bringing back its Empty Bowl Brunch for the 2012 holiday season.
This annual event raises money for deserving charities, including MUST Ministries and an organization for Vietnam veterans, as well as programs sponsored by the Mountain View Arts Alliance.

Last year's Empty Bowl Brunch brought in $2,600.
The "empty bowls" in question are dishes made by pottery teachers, staff and students at the Art Place. The bowls are donated to the brunch, where they can be filled with soup or chili.
The Empty Bowl Brunch will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission is $10; visit theartplace.us to purchase tickets.
