Missing Person Found

1)                  ***Update***Missing Person (08/17/10 – Headquarters) The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is currently investigating a missing person case involving 46 year old Randal Race of Orlando, Florida. He was last seen at 200 Interstate North Parkway in Atlanta, Georgia on the evening of August 17th, 2010.    


DESCRIPTION:             White Male, 6’01” tall, 170 lbs. with a slim build.                                                                                                          

According to investigators, Randal Race was in Atlanta on a business trip and was staying at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest Hotel.  On Tuesday, August 17th, 2010 Race told his co-workers he was not feeling well and he returned to his hotel room.  Race did not show up for work on Wednesday or Thursday.  After checking his room on Thursday, it appeared that all of his belongings were in his hotel room; however it did not appear that his room had been used the previous night.  Race did not board his scheduled return flight to Orlando on Friday, August 20th, 2010.  He may be driving a 2011 white Chevrolet Malibu rental car displaying GA tag BFP6577, which is currently overdue.  Race has not been heard from in Orlando, Florida and investigators believe he may have been the victim of foul play. 



On August 25th, 2010, after Cobb County investigators obtained information on his whereabouts, at approximately 0430 hours Randal Race was located by DeKalb County Police Officers at the Red Roof Inn on North Druid Hills Road in DeKalb County, Georgia.  Mr. Race was in good physical condition.  He was transported to Northside Hospital for medical treatment.
