Young children learn best when they are directly involved in exploring their environment through play. Our classrooms are divided into learning areas that guide children into self initiated discoveries. A variety of activities, promoting socialization and creative self-expression, encourage each child to grow in his or her own way. We provide a warm and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and be happy. Children experience active and quiet play, indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, literacy activities, dramatic play, games, books, block building, cooking, laughing, exploring, resting, discovering, thinking, experimenting, and questioning. Multicultural activities are also an important curriculum component. Our Staff works closely with parents to understand each child’s individual needs and abilities. With the range of programs available, BCC Learning Center becomes a second home for families, as children grow and progress from program to program. Siblings can connect with each other throughout the day. Communication between parents and teachers is critical to maintaining high quality care. We are committed to providing a support structure for families.
