Magnum’s origins date back to the early 80’s in the McConville family’s garage in Marietta. Mike McConville loved cars and spent a great deal of his time "modifying” his earliest personal vehicles in (father) Jim’s garage. While still in high school, Mike was learning and applying the fundamentals that would form the foundation of his lifetime avocation. With family approval Mike and a partner leased some commercial space and "gave it a go”. Jim kept his day job in Sales & Marketing. From the beginning, "Magnum” did very high quality work for a small number of customers. And so it was…. for a time. Magnum continued to do quality work and, over time, went from very small to larger volumes, holding the line on quality. The initial focus was on higher-end cars but, as time went on, Magnum began to gain a solid reputation for consistent quality work, and the makes and models became all-inclusive.
